Wolf x Wolf aka Patient Wolf Gin x Wolf of the Willows collaborate again to recreate our 2018 GABS Festival people’s choice 3rd place winning beer, the Tom Collins Sour Ale.
Inspired by the classic gin cocktail, this beer was kettle soured with lacto-bacillus and fermented with the Wolf of the Willows unique yeast strain. Zesty lemon and ruby grapefruit flavours featuring Patient Wolf signature botanicals of juniper berries, coriander seeds and tonka beans.
The botanicals were distilled to exact ratios to work with the beer in Patient Wolf's custom made Müller still from Germany. These were blended to create the perfect kettle sour beer gin cocktail. The result? Well it’s cocktail hour somewhere in the world!
